Cygwin (mandatory for Windows*) | BAM analytics framework depends on Apache Hadoop and Hadoop requires Cygwin, in order to run in Windows. At a minimum; Basic, Net (OpenSSH, tcp_wrapper packages), and security related Cygwin packages need to be present in the system.
