  1. On the Create menu, click Microspace.
  2. Enter a title for the dashboard.
    Only alphanumerical and - hyphen is allowed to be entered as the dashboard title. 
  3. Click Create new app.  
  4. Click on the folder containing the name of the newly created microsite.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Write the code using jaggery and/or html.
    Use the tools in the editor when necessary.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Publish the microsite.

Publishing a microsite to the store

  1. On the My Items menu, click on the dashboard/microsite folder that needs to be published.
  2. The Published Settings page will appear. 
  3. Select "microsite" as the Publish as option.
    Dashboards too need to be published as microsites. The default value is microsites.

  4. Select the permission type allowed for this component.
    Users who have the edit permission will be able to edit the microsite. However, the changes will only be visible to the user who made the changes and will not be visible publicly. 

  5. Enter the name of the component to be published.
  6. Enter the component version.
  7. Enter the URL that will be used to publicly access the component.
  8. Enter a description on the component to be published.
  9. Enter the URL of the thumbnail.
  10. Enter the allowed roles.
    Only predefined roles can be added. The users who possess these roles will see the the published component in their Shared Favorites list.
  11. Enter the allowed users.
    This option gives you the ability, to make this component available only to certain users, rather than to all the users in a role. The listed users will see this component in their Shared Favorites list.
  12. Click Publish.
