WSO2 Stratos 2.0.0 was donated to the Apache Software foundation and was released as Apache Stratos 3.0.0 (incubating). Thereafter, WSO2 Stratos has been rebranded as WSO2 Private PaaS. WSO2 Private PaaS version 4.1.0 has been built on top of Apache Stratos 4.1.0. WSO2 Private PaaS is the most complete, enterprise-grade, open PaaS, with support for more core services than any other available PaaS today. A Platform as a Service (PaaS) is a category of cloud computing that provides a platform and an environment to allow developers to build applications and services over the internet.
