The URL Mappings window gives a holistic view of all the URLs redirected to URL mappings in the server. URL mappings offer a convenient way to map a lengthy URL of a Web application or a service to a generated ID. Achieved by an HTTP redirect on a shorter domain name, a URL mapping conveniently shortens a lengthy URL.
