The WSO2 EMM device monitoring dashboard provides an overview of the registered devices for administrators to manage them efficiently and effectively. Let's take a look at the information provided via the EMM analytics dashboard.

Getting device information

Access the WSO2 EMM analytics device monitoring dashboard console: https://<EMM_HOST>:<EMM_PORT>/portal  For more information, see Accessing the WSO2 EMM Device Monitoring Dashboard.

• Overview
  Image ModifiedThe overview displays the number of devices for each connectivity status. For more information on the REST API used to display this data, see Getting the Device Connectivity Status Overview.

• • Total: All the devices that have registered with WSO2 EMM.

  • Active: The devices that are registered with WSO2 EMM and are actively communicating with the server.
  • Inactive: The devices that are registered with WSO2 EMM but unable to actively communicate with the server.
  • Removed: The devices that have unregistered from WSO2 EMM.

• Vulnerabilities
  Image RemovedImage AddedThe vulnerabilities section displays the number of devices that are prone to potential vulnerabilities. For more information on the REST API used to display this data, see Getting Potential Device Vulnerability Overview.

• • Non Compliant: Devices that have not complied with the policies enforced on the device by WSO2 EMM.
  • Un-monitored: Devices that have no policy assigned to them.
    
    

• Non-compliant features

  This section displays a graphical representation of the number of devices that do not comply with a given policy. For instance, as seen above, the graph indicates that 2 devices do not comply with the WIFI_TEST policy. You can also hover over the relevant bar to get the policy ID/policy feature code and device count.  For more information on the REST API used to display this data, see Getting Policy Non-Compliant Overview.

  The above screen displays the 5 features per page. To change the number of features shown on a page, select a preferred value from the Show features list.

• Device grouping

  This section displays a graphical representation of the number of devices grouped by the device platform and the device ownership. For instance, as seen above, the number of android devices are much higher than any other platform. For more information on the API used to display this data, see Getting the Device Count for Defined Filter Groups.

1. Click on a classification by which you want to filter the devices.
   Example: Clicking on Active in the Overview section will generate data based on all the devices that have an Active connectivity status.

2. Select a platform or an ownership type by which you want to further filter the devices.

   Note
   You are not able to filter devices by multiple platforms or ownership types.

   Example: Filter Active, iOS devices
