1. Create a folder in your local machine and navigate to it using your command line.

2. Run the following commands.

   mkdir is-samples cd is-samples/ git init git remote add -f origin https://github.com/wso2/product-is.git

   git config core.sparseCheckout true

3. Checkout the v5.1.0 tag to update the empty repository with the remote one.

   language bash
   git checkout -b v5.1.0 v5.1.0

   You will find the directory downloaded onto your local folder.  The samples can be found in the <is-samples>/modules/samples folder of the directory.
