The operation management functionality is provided by the Service Management feature of the WSO2 feature repository. Follow the instructions steps below to add and manage operations of a particular serviceservice operations using the management console.
1.

  1. Log
on

  2. From the Deployed Services window that appears, click the service to which you want to activate reliable messaging.

Operation details

Shows the following information:

  • Operation Name: Name of the operation.
  • Service: The name of the Web service.
  • MTOM: The status of the SOAP Message Transmission Optimization for the operation. For more information, refer to section "Service Management -> see SOAP MTOM".

The following actions are available for to an operation under its QoS panel.

Response Caching

Is used to configure response caching. The configuration steps are described in section See  Response Caching.

Access Throttling

Is used to configure access throttling for the selected operation. The configuration steps are described in section See Access Throttling.

MTOM

SOAP Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism (MTOM) is a widely used mechanism for sending attachments with SOAP. By default, MTOM is set to optional. You can set it to True or False. The configuration steps are described in section See SOAP MTOM.

Message Flows

Message Flows provide graphical or textual views of the globally engaged handlers in the system at a given time. The configuration steps are described in section   System Monitoring and Statistics -> View See Message Flows.

Modules

Engages modules for the a selected operation. The configuration steps are described in section  See Module Configuration.

Parameters

Edit/delete operation for parameters. The configuration steps are described in section  See Parameters.

Statistics

The "Statistics" panel provides statistical information about an operation as follows.following statistics about the service are available:

  • Request Count
  • Response Count
  • Fault Count
  • Maximum Response Time
  • Minimum Response Time
  • Average Response Time

It also provides a graphical view of the system response time.
