WSO2 Developer Studio supports testing and archive deployment of the artifacts that you develop within the Eclipse IDE. A Carbon Application Archive (or .car file) is a deployable artifact produced by WSO2 Developer Studio. These artifacts can directly be deployed from WSO2 Developer Studio or from within the WSO2 Governance Registry Management Console.
