Before you proceed to install the product, ensure that the Installation Prerequisites are satisfied. If you are using JDK7 on MacOS environment, download the relevant snappy-java library from here and place it in the <BAM-HOME>. Establish a SSH connection to the Linux/Solaris machine or log in on the text Linux console. You should either log in as root or obtain root permissions after login via su or sudo command.
