What is new in this release

WSO2 Carbon 4.4.5 is the successor of Carbon 4.4.4, which includes several improvements and bug fixes.

Note that the EHcache-based implementation caching implementation based on EHcache has been removed from Carbon 4.4.x versions. This is due to issues related to distributed caching in EHcache. We have moved onto a hazelcast-based caching implementation in Carbon 4.4.x , which we officially support.

If you still want to use EHcache in Carbon 4.4.x products, you can manually add the EHCache JAR (which is a third party JAR) to the <CARBON_HOME>/repository/components/plugins directory.
