What is new in this release

WSO2 Carbon 4.4.5 is the successor of Carbon 4.4.4, which includes several improvements and bug fixes.

Note that the caching implementation based on EHcache has been removed from Carbon 4.4.x versions. This is due to issues related to distributed caching in EHcache. We have moved onto to a hazelcast-based caching implementation in Carbon 4.4.x , which we officially support.

If you still want to use EHcache in Carbon 4.4.x products, you can manually add the EHCache JAR (which is a third party JAR) to the <CARBON_HOME>/repository/components/plugins directory.
