You can set checkpoints to a lifecycle of an asset in WSO2 G-Reg, to let you know the amount of hours spent on the development of a specific asset and calculate how much more time you have to deliver it. This is a very useful feature to calculate the approximate amount of time/money that was saved or spent.
After When you define checkpoints for the state duration a lifecycle, you view the current time duration of the lifecycle state of the asset in the G-Reg Publisher. For example, how it is displayed for you can view the current state duration of the Deprecated state of the BuyMoreLifecycle is shown in the image as shown below.
You can add checkpoints to the lifecycle configuration to view duration periods in different colors. For example, you can view the first 24 hours duration of the Obsolete state in red color in the asset detail page as shown below.
