Tip

It is not recommended to use the ESB management console to edit artifacts that are deployed to your ESB instance using a CAR file. Doing so would cause a new artifact to be created in your ESB instance and will result in conflicts when your ESB server is restarted.

  1. Click the Main tab on the Management Console, go to Manage -> Carbon Applications and then click List.

  2. The deployed C-App file will be listed on the page. Click on Delete next to the relevant C-App to un-deploy the artifact in your ESB instance.

  3. Edit the artifacts using WSO2 Developer Studio. For creating artifacts, see Creating ESB Artifacts in the Developer Studio documentation.

  4. Create the C-App and export the C-App as a CAR file. See Packaging Artifacts Into Deployable Archives in the Developer Studio documentation

  5. Deploy the CAR file to your ESB instance as described in Creating and Deploying a Carbon Application.
