Follow the instructions below to add configure the general platform settings:

  1. On the Configurations tab Sign in the MDM Console, click Settings.
  2. Enter the following general settings:
    Note that the mandatory fields have been marked with red asterisks.
    • Company name - The name of the organization using WSO2 MDM.
    • Browser title - This is the text that appears as the caption of the browser tab (See the image below).
    • Copyright Footer Text - This is the text with regard to the copyrights that appear at the bottom of each interface (See the image below).
    • Email Configurations - The following configurations need to be added to configure the tenant's email.
      • Host - The address of the host server.
      • Port - The host server port that is open for communication.
      • Username - Username of the mentioned host server.
      • Password - Password corresponding to the mentioned host server username.
      • Sender Email Address - The email address that will be used as the sender's email address when sending invitations to users.
      • Email Template - The body of the email that will be sent to the user.
    • Policy Agreement - This is the policy that will be shown to BYOD users when they attempt to register with MDM.
  3. Click Save.

  3. Define the Monitoring Frequency in milliseconds, to monitor the enforced policies on the devices.
