Follow the instructions below to add configure the general platform settings:
- On the Configurations tab Sign in the MDM Console, click Settings.
- Enter the following general settings:
Note that the mandatory fields have been marked with red asterisks.- Company name - The name of the organization using WSO2 MDM.
- Browser title - This is the text that appears as the caption of the browser tab (See the image below).
- Copyright Footer Text - This is the text with regard to the copyrights that appear at the bottom of each interface (See the image below).
- Email Configurations - The following configurations need to be added to configure the tenant's email.
- Host - The address of the host server.
- Port - The host server port that is open for communication.
- Username - Username of the mentioned host server.
- Password - Password corresponding to the mentioned host server username.
- Sender Email Address - The email address that will be used as the sender's email address when sending invitations to users.
- Email Template - The body of the email that will be sent to the user.
- Policy Agreement - This is the policy that will be shown to BYOD users when they attempt to register with MDM.
- Click Save.

- to the EMM management console and click the menu icon.
- Click Platform Configurations.
- Define the Monitoring Frequency in milliseconds, to monitor the enforced policies on the devices.
- Click SAVE.
