What is new in this Release
The WSO2 Data Services Server version 3.1.01 is the successor of version 3.0.1. It contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Capability to change SQL queries of data services dynamically at runtime. See Defining a Dynamic SQL Query.
- Capability to skip non-printable characters when printing the output of a query. In previous DSS releases, when your database had characters that are not serializable to XML, the server threw an exception.
- Following features are inherited from new and improved WSO2 Carbon 4.2.0 platform:
- Multiple profile support.
- Fully automated patch application process.
- Restoring the server from the command line if there's a startup error after an unsuccessful feature installation.
- Capability to configure multiple secondary user stores in addition to the default.
- Multiple profile support.
Compatible WSO2 product versions
The following products were tested for compatibility with 0. In addition to several defect fixes, it also contains underlying improvements done to the WSO2 Carbon context.
