- Click on the Launchpad on your Mac.
- Search for Keychain Access and open it.
- On the Keychain Access menu, navigate to Certificate Assistant and click Request a Certificate from a Certificate Authority….
- Enter your email address and the common name. The common name will reflect the name of the certificate.
- Select the Save to disk option.
- Click Continue to save the private key.
- Click Keys in the Keychain window, which appears under the Category section.
Right click on the newly created key and click on Export.click Export to export the file. You will need to provide a password when exporting the file.Anchor APNS_cert_pwd APNS_cert_pwd - Enter a name for the certificate and select the destination it needs to be saved to.
- Select
.p12as the file format. - Click Save and provide a password of your choice.
- Rename the private key file extension from
P12toPFX. Thereafter, follow the steps mentioned under iOS Settings.
