If you do not need to use a particular application, you can delete it permanently. But it is not recommended to delete individual artifacts of a cApp. The entire cApp should be deleted.

As an alternative to deleting the cApp through the management console UI, you can delete the CAR archive fromĀ <PRODUCT_HOME>/repository/carbonapps/{tenant-ID} manually and it will be undeployed. {tenant-ID} is the ID of the tenant, which is 0 in a single-tenant environment. 0 is the super tenant ID. Manual undeployment in a multi-tenanted environment is not recommended if you are unaware of the tenant ID.
