You can set checkpoints to a lifecycle of an asset in WSO2 G-Reg, to let you know the amount of hours spent on the development of a specific asset and calculate how much more time you have to deliver it. This is a very useful feature to calculate useful in calculating the approximate amount of time/money that was saved or spent.
After When you define add checkpoints for a to the lifecycle configuration, you view the current time state duration of the lifecycle state of the asset in the G-Reg Publisher. For example, how it is displayed for you view the current state duration of the Deprecated state of the BuyMoreLifecycle is shown in the image below. as shown below.
Also, you can add checkpoints to the lifecycle configuration, to view duration periods in different colors. For example, you view the first 24 hours duration of the Obsolete state in red color in the asset detail page of G-Reg Publisher as shown below.
Also, you view the checkpoint color as you defined, in the page of G-Reg Publisher, which lists all assets of a particular type as shown below.
