A network partition, is an area of an IaaS that is bound by one network of an IaaS. Therefore, one or more partitions can be included inside a network partition. Private IPs are used for communication within a network partition. Network partitions are also referred to as partition groups. The partition algorithm that is applied within a network partition may differ from the partition algorithm that is applied between different network partitions.
