Users can import Policies policies from user's local file system or from a given URL. Given The policy file will be added to the location to the place where all the policies are stored.

Adding a policy
Follow the instructions below to add a new Policy policy to the Governance Registry.
- Sign in. Enter your user name and password to log on to the Management Console.
- Click the "Main" button to access the "Metadata" menu. From the left navigation menu, under " Add, " in the "Metadata" menu, select " Policy."
Select whether to import Policy the policy from URL of or upload it from a file. If importing from URL was selected, specify the URL of the Policy policy and its name.
If uploading from file was selected, you can upload a single Policy policy file or a ZIP file (in .zip or .gar extension). See Creating a Governance Archive. Use the " Browse" button to upload a file.Info The name of a Policy will be added automatically.
- Click on the "Add" button.

To update an existing Policypolicy, either delete and add it again or use the Resource Browser. |
Listing policies
- All the added policy can be viewed under List WS > Policies.
Information such as Policy Name, Policy Version, Life Cycle status and Actions are
illustrateddisplayed about
Policiespolicies.
Info When filtering the data using more than one value in the search field, use comma separated values with quotation marks to distinguish the values. E.g., if there are two entries with the words Connector and Resource, the search string would be: "Connector", "Resource".
- A policy can be selected by the name of the Policypolicy.
