What is new in this Release 

The WSO2 Data Services Server version 3.1.0 is the successor of version 3.0.1. It contains the following new features and enhancements:  

• Capability to change SQL queries of data services dynamically at runtime. See Defining a Dynamic SQL Query.
• Capability to skip non-printable characters when printing the output of a query. In previous DSS releases, when your database had characters that are not serializable to XML, the server threw an exception.
• Following features are inherited from new and improved WSO2 Carbon 4.2.0 platform:
  • Multiple profile support.
    
  • Fully automated patch application process.
  • Restoring the server from the command line if there's a startup error after an unsuccessful feature installation.
  • Capability to configure multiple secondary user stores in addition to the default.
