Follow the instructions below to add a new Database.

Note

Before adding a Database to WSO2 ESB, add a Database Instance.

1. Sign in. Enter your user name and password to log on to the ESB Management Console.

2. Click the "Main" tab to access the "Manage" menu.

3. From the "Manage" menu, select the "Add" link under "Databases."

4. Fill in all the fields on the "New Database" page.

  • Instance Name - The Instance which is already added to the ESB. See how to add Instance in Adding a Database Instance. Select it from the drop-down menu.
  • Database Name - the unique name of a Database.
  • Default User Information
    • Username - The default name of the user.
    • Password - The default user's password.
    • Repeat Password

5. Once information entered, click on the "Add" button to create a new Database.

6. The Database is added to the server and displayed in the "Database" list.
