The WSO2 EMM dashboard provides an overview of the devices for administrators to manage the registered devices efficiently and effectively. This section provides instructions on working with dashboard to get, count and filter devices accordingly.
The WSO2 EMM dashboard can be accessed at the following URL: https://localhost:9443/portal
Sections of the dashboard
- Overview
The overview section displays a count of the number of devices for each of the following classifications of the device's connectivity status. For more information on the API used to display this data, see Getting the Device Connectivity Status Overview.
Total
: All the devices that have registered with WSO2 EMM.Active
: The devices that are registered with WSO2 EMM and are actively communicating with the server.Inactive
: The devices that are registered with WSO2 EMM but unable to actively communicate with the server.Removed
: The devices that have unregistered from WSO2 EMM.
- Vulnerabilities
The vulnerabilities section displays a count of the number of devices for each of the following classifications of the device's potential vulnerabilities. For more information on the API used to display this data, see Getting Potential Device Vulnerability Overview.
Non Compliant
: Devices that have not complied to the policies enforced on the device by WSO2 EMM.Un-monitored
: Devices that have no policy assigned to them.
Non-Compliant features
This section displays a graphical representation of the count of the number of devices that do not comply with a given policy. For instance, as seen above, the graph indicates that 2 devices do not comply with theWIFI_TEST
policy. You can also hover over the relevant bar to get the policy id and count. For more information on the API used to display this data, see Getting Policy Non-Compliant Overview.Pagination
Note that the above screen displays the data in two pages and each page displays data for 5 features. To change the number of features shown on a page, select a value in the Show features dropdown list.
Device Grouping
This section displays a graphical representation of the count of the number of devices grouped by the device platform and the device ownership. For instance, as seen above, the number of android devices are much higher than any other platform. For more information on the API used to display this data, see Getting a Device Count based on the Device Type.
Filtering Devices
- Login to the WSO2 EMM dashboard by accessing the following URL: https://localhost:9443/portal.
- Click on a classification by which you want to filter the devices (for example, clicking on Active in the Overview section will generate data based on all the devices that have an Active connectivity status).
Select a platform or an ownership type by which you want to further filter the devices. You will see a screen similiar to the following (this screen has been filtered based on Active, iOS devices).
Note that you cannot filter by multiple platforms or ownership types.
