SOAP Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism (MTOM) is a widely used mechanism for sending attachments with SOAP.

Steps below explain how to enable MTOM in your service.

  1. Log in to the management console and select Services > List under the Main menu.  
  2. From the Deployed Services page that appears, click the service to which you want to enable MTOM.  
  3. The service's dashboard opens. By default, MTOM is set to optional. You can set it to True or False.
