All WSO2 products are build on the WSO2 Carbon platform, which provides several in-built tools to:
- Capture the state of the system in error situations
- Change user passwords in the Carbon database
- Encrypt and decrypt simple texts
- View and resend messages
- Secure the plain text password in carbon configuration files
