WSO2 API Manager Documentation
The WSO2 API Manager is an enterprise-ready, fully-open source, complete solution for creating, publishing and managing all aspects of an API and its life cycle, catering for the needs of both API publisher and API consumer requirements. It leverages proven integration, security, governance and monitoring components from the WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus, WSO2 Identity Server, and WSO2 Governance Registry products, coupled with proven SOA best practices to solve a wide range of API management challenges. In addition, as it is powered by the WSO2 Business Activity Monitor, the WSO2 API Manager is ready for massively scalable deployments immediately.
Since all WSO2 products are based on the component-based WSO2 Carbon platform, the WSO2 API Manager is lean, lightweight and consists of only the required components for efficient functioning. It does not contain unnecessary bulk, unlike many over-bloated, proprietary solutions.
