WSO2 Application Server

The WSO2 Application Server (AS) is an enterprise-grade, lean, 100% open source, cloud-enabled, multi-tenant platform offered under Apache license 2.0. Unlike many over-bloated, proprietary solutions, WSO2 Application Server cuts out unnecessary layers, yet supports a comprehensive set of features in a simple, clean, lightweight model. It is easily-deployable and developer-friendly with rich context for hosting and managing scalable applications and services. The WSO2 Application Server is reliable, supports secure communication and transactional integration based on the concept of loose coupling.

With the WSO2 Application Server, you get a single, integrated package with lots of additional features inherited from the component-based WSO2 Carbon platform. Both the WSO2 Carbon Platform and the WSO2 Application Server are award-winning innovations in the global enterprise middleware solutions space.
