The "Logging Proxy" template creates a Proxy Service Samples, which logs all the incoming requests and forwards them to a given endpoint. If necessary, responses coming back from the backend service can be logged before routing them to the client.

The Proxy Service settings:

  • Proxy Service Name - Allows do define the unique name of the Proxy Service.
  • Target Endpoint - Allows to be selected as:
    • Enter URL
      • Target URL - Allows to enter a Target URL into the field.
    • Pick from registry
      • Endpoint Key - Allows to pick the source from the Configuration Registry or Governance Registry. For more information about the Registry Browser, see Namespace.
  • Request Log Level - Can be selected from the drop-down menu as "Full" or "Simple."
  • Responce Log Level - Can be selected from the drop-down menu as "Full" or "Simple."
  • Publish WSDL options
