What's new in this release
WSO2 Developer Studio version 3.8.0 is the successor of version 3.7.1. It contains the following enhancements:
- Applying security policies to your solution using WSO2 Developer Studio
- WSO2 Developer Studio provides the facility to create security policies by using predefined security scenarios.
- Enforces security policies for Data Services, BPEL workflows, ESB artifacts.
- Enhanced support for WSO2 Connectors
- Connect to the WSO2 Connector Store and import preferred connectors directly.
- Include these connectors in the same CAR file, which wraps other artifacts such as sequences, proxy services, APIs etc., and deploy as one unit.
- Inbound endpoint support
- PublishEvent Mediator and ForEach Mediator support
- Exploded WebApp deployment support
- Easier to make changes in the files, without requiring a redeployment of the complete WAR file.
- Enhanced support for the Maven release plug-in with a new WSO2 release helper plug-in
- Supports all major scm providers
- Supports dry run and rollback modes
- API Manager perspective for Developer Studio
- Perform updates and edits to your APIM sequences.
- Basic tooling support for analytic artifacts of WSO2 CEP.
Compatible WSO2 product versions
The following products were tested for compatibility with WSO2 Developer Studio 3.8.0:
- ESB 4.9.0
WSO2 Developer Studio 3.8.0 supports WSO2 Carbon 4.4.0 and is expected to be compatible with any other WSO2 product that is based on Carbon 4.4.0.
