Deleting Carbon Applications

Follow the instructions below to delete a deployed Carbon application from the Carbon instance. It is not recommended to delete individual artifacts of a cApp. Recommended practice is to delete the entire cApp.

As an alternative to deleting the cApp through the management console UI, you can delete the CAR archive from <PRODUCT_HOME>/repository/carbonapps/{tenant-ID} manually and it will be undeployed. {tenant-ID} is the ID of the tenant, which is 0 in a single-tenant environment. 0 is the super tenant ID. Manual undeployment in a multi-tenanted environment is not recommended if you are unaware of the tenant ID.

2. You will be able to see the deployed cApp on this page as shown in the following example. Click on the "Delete" link associated with a certain application to remove your cApp permanently.
