What is new in this Release
The WSO2 Data Services Server version 3.2.0 is the successor of version 3.1.1. In addition to several defect fixes, it also contains underlying improvements done to the WSO2 Carbon context.
- The ability to give a JSON mapping in the results section of the data service operation/resource. See JSON Mapping for more details.
- Supporting MongoDB datasource. Hereby, it is no longer required to add MongoDB as a custom datasource. See MongoDB for more details.
- Supporting Cassandra CQL datasource. Now you can use native CQL to connect to Cassandra databases, See Cassandra for more details.
- Support for structured fault messages. Structured error messages enabled for SOAP faults. See Defining Service Operations for more details.
- Improved transaction behavior. For example, when batch requests occur in boxcarring with XA transactions, and transactional nested queries.

Compatible WSO2 product versions
WSO2 DSS 3.2.0 is based on WSO2 Carbon 4.2.0 and is expected to be compatible with any other WSO2 product that is based on Carbon 4.2.0. If you get any compatibility issues, please contact team WSO2. For information on the third-party software required with DSS 3.2.0, see Installation Prerequisites.
