Associating tags to applications

Tags of an application act as keywords that help you to describe the application and provides support for application search and categorization in App Store. When creating a Web application in App Publisher, in the Tags field, type the tag value and click Enter key. Similarly, you can define any number of tags for a Web application. For example, define ‘travel’, ‘ticket booking’, ‘train schedule’ etc as tag values for a travel booking app as shown below.

Tags allow grouping/categorizing web applications that have similar attributes, functionalities, features and behaviors. Once  tagged Web applications are published to App Store, the tags appear on the dashboard as links to related Web applications as follows. Click these linked tags to quickly jump to a category.
