WSO2 Distributed File System Service provides Apache HDFS-based, highly-scalable , next-generation, distributed File Systemdistributed file system management capability. It supports unstructured data (files) and helps users to create and manage a distributed file system with authentication and authorization. Hadoop file system ship that comes with WSO2 SS Storage Server uses Carbon user base for authentication and authorization.
In an upcoming This release of WSO2 Storage Server , the distributed file system service will be shipped with a management user interface enabling users to manage file system objects through a simplified, Web interface. In this release, only command-line is supporteddoes not provide a management console UI for file system objects. It only has command-line support. The following sections introduce several key popular CLI commands along with an API reference guide for developers.
