WSO2 Distributed File System Service provides Apache HDFS-based, highly-scalable distributed file system management capability. It supports unstructured data (files) and helps users to create and manage a distributed file system with authentication and authorization. Hadoop file system that comes with WSO2 Storage Server uses Carbon user base for authentication and authorization.
This release of Storage Server does not provide a management console UI for file system objects. It only has command-line support. The following sections introduce popular CLI commands.
WSO2 plans to provide a management console UI for HDFS-based file system management in a future release.
