The Android Agent EMM Agent (Android/iOS) will get downloaded and installed when when registering the device. The following sections describe how the EMM agent can be removed from different mobile operating systems:

Uninstalling the Android Agent

Follow the instructions below to uninstall the Android Agent:

  1. Unregister the device from EMM.

  2. In Settings, tap Applications or Application Manager on your device. This may differ based on your device. If your device has the Applications menu, tap Manage Applications, otherwise directly move to step 3.

  3. Tap WSO2 Agent to select the Android agent application.

  4. Tap Uninstall.

Uninstalling the iOS Agent

Follow the instructions below to uninstall the iOS Agent:

  1. Unregister the device from EMM.

  2. Locate the iOS Agent application on your device.

  3. Tap and hold down the icon of the iOS Agent application. After a few seconds, all the apps in your iPhone will start wiggling and a tiny "X" icon will appear beside them. Note that the "X" icon will not appear beside the apps that came with the device.
  4. Press the "X" icon that appears beside the iOS Agent application. A message-box will appear.
  5. Tap Delete. The iOS Agent application will be removed.
  6. Press the home button to go back to the normal screen. The home button is the circular button that appears below the touch screen.
