The graphical editor can be used to do the following dashboard customization only when creating and personalizing a dashboard.

Removing a dashboard block

Click the respective close  link.

Adding a dashboard block

  1. Click Add Block.
  2. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the pointer either vertically, horizontally or diagonally to define the gadget size in the grid.
  3. Click Add Empty Block. 

Repositioning a dashboard block

Hold down the left mouse button and when the pointer becomes a four-headed arrow, drag the pointer to reposition the block on the dashboard. 

Adding a gadget to a dashboard block

  1. Move your mouse pointer over the block.
    The Add Gadget button will appear. 
  2. Click the Add Gadget button in the block.
    The Add Gadget from Store page will appear. 
  3. Select a suitable gadget from the store.
  4. Click the Add Gadget button corresponding to the selected gadget.

Setting gadget preferences

The gadget preferences will vary, as the UES allows users to create their own gadgets from scratch.

  1. Move your mouse over the more info link, shown below:
  2. Click the settings link shown below:
  3. Set the gadget preferences.
  4. Click Save.

Changing the gadget view preferences

  • To maximize a gadget, click the maximize link shown below:
  • To minimize a gadget, click the minimize link shown below:
