The URL Mappings window gives a holistic view of all the URLs redirected to URL mappings in the server. URL mappings offer a convenient way to map a lengthy URL of a Web application or a service to a generated ID. Achieved by an HTTP redirect on a shorter domain name, a URL mapping conveniently shortens a lengthy URL. For information on URL shortening for Web applications and services, refer to sections, URL Mapping for Applications and URL Mapping for Services.

The 'URL Mappings' view is provided by the following feature of the WSO2 feature repository:

Name: WSO2 Carbon - URL Mapper Feature
Identifier: org.wso2.carbon.url.mapper.feature.group

This feature is bundled by default in the WSO2 Application Server. If it is not included in the WSO2 product you are using, you can install it using the instructions provided in section Feature Management. Once installed, the necessary menus will appear in the product's management console.

Follow the instructions below to view URL mappings of the server.

 1. Log on to the product's management console and select "URL Mappings" under menu "Monitor."

2. The "URL Mappings" window opens with a list of URL mappings and their respective contexts/domain.
