The first step in complex event processing is to collect the data to be processed. Data is obtained from data agents that capture data from external application as well as data agents that capture data from WSO2 Enterprise Server Bus, WSO2 Application Server and other custom data publishers and pump them to WSO2 CEP which acts as a summarisation server.
