What's new in this release
WSO2 Governance Registry version 5.0.0 is the successor of version 4.6.0. It contains the following new features and enhancements:
- Rich Enterprise Store based rich Publisher and Store.
- All new REST API for Governance to easily develop applications.
- Out of the box support for Swagger imports, with facility to upload via a file or import using a link.
Enhanced RXT functionalities.
Two new RXT types were added for SOAP and REST services. Also, a RXT was added for Endpoints which was stored as a resource in the Registry in WSO2 G-Reg 4.6.0.
- Integration with API Mananger 2.0.0.
- Multiple lifecycle support.
- Graphical diff-view to compare two interrelated assets.

Compatible WSO2 product versions
The following products were tested for compatibility with WSO2 Governance Registry 5.0.0:
- APIM 1.9.1 and 2.0.0
WSO2 Governance Registry 5.0.0 is based on WSO2 Carbon 4.4.1 and is expected to be compatible with any other WSO2 product that is based on Carbon 4.4.1.
