You need to run KPI sample to get the sample data which is used in this section.

Add Report

You should add a data source in order to retrieve the data from your database table. We are going to create table from h2 database and data was created from the KPI Monitoring Sample. Since no data source was added to the h2 table which is used in the sample, step 1 to step 4 will explain steps to add a data source. If you have already added a data source follow steps from step-5.

1. Go to Configure -> Data source. And click on Add Data Source

2. Fill the the details about the data source which you are going to add. Since here we are using the KPI sample generated data source the following details are entered.

Driver: org.h2.Driver
URL: jdbc:h2:repository/database/samples/WSO2CARBON_DB;AUTO_SERVER=TRUE
Username : wso2carbon
Password: wso2carbon

3. Click on Test connection to validate the connection.

4. Click on add to add the data source to the WSO2 server.

5. Click on Tools -> Reports -> Add. and select Table  Report.

 

6. Enter the table details as shown below. You can select the preferred database and the table for which you are going to generate the report. Since here we are going to generate the report from newly added database, select 'phone_retail_store' as the data source. and select the table which you are going to use. According to your selection the fields will be updated. You can select which field you are going to include in the table report from the database report. And click on Next Button.

 

7. Enter the report formatting details as you prefer in the second step.

 

Click on create button. This will take u to the list page of reports.

 

Generate report

1. Click on the report name in the list of reports (Tools -> Reports -> List)

2. This will take you to the generate page. Click on the proffered report format. Here pdf was selected.

 

3. Click on the generate button. and then there will be download pop-up to save the generated report, click on save and download your report.
