Follow the steps below to send a single event to a defined event stream by entering data via the event simulator.
- Log in to the management console using the following URL: https://<PRODUCT_HOST>:<PRODUCT_PORT>/carbon/
- Click Tools, and then click Event Simulator.
- Select the Event Stream Name from the drop down list.
Enter the attribute values accordingly as shown in the below example.
Use either 'true' or 'false' as values for boolean type attributes that are defined in an event stream, when sending events via the event simulator.
The fields of the above screen will change depending on the attributes you defined in the event stream.- Click Send, to send the events to the event stream.
