Adding a Server Role

Follow the instructions below to add a new server role to Gadget Server.

1. Log on to the Gadget Server Management Console.

2. Click the "Configure" menu and select "Server Roles."

3. The "Server Roles" page appears. Click on the "Add New Server Role" link.

4. The "Add Custom Server Role" drop down menu appears. Fill in the "Role Name" field and click the "Add" button.

Note

You can add any textual name as a server role without special characters except underscore.

5. The new server role is added and displayed in the server roles list.
