HornetQ is an open source project to build a multi-protocol, asynchronous messaging system. This section describes how to configure the JMS transport of the Business Process profile in WSO2 Enterprise Integrator (WSO2 EI) with HornetQ.
When configuring the JMS transport with HornetQ, you can either configure with a standalone HornetQ server or with HornetQ embedded in a JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP) server.
