The Getting Started with WSO2 Private PaaS video series is a step-by-step guide to installing, provisioning, and running WSO2 Private PaaS on Amazon EC2.

  1. Provision an Amazon EC2 instance.
In the following screencast we demonstrate how to provision an Amazon EC2 instance from the WSO2 Private PaaS Amazon Machine Image (AMI). We provision a PaaS controller node, which controls the PaaS environment.

  2. Provision the PaaS environment.

  3. Create tenants.
A tenant is a business unit, partner, or team requiring complete administrative control and isolation of their slide in the multi-tenant PaaS. WSO2 Private PaaS isolates each tenant and provides a delegated administration console.

  4. Provision an application platform service.
An application platform services host web applications, APIs, business processes, and web services.

  5. Upload a simple Java web application to the PaaS running on Amazon EC2.
