Managing a Dashboard

The following activities can be carried out for a dashboard that you have already added to the Analytics Dashboard.

Setting permissions for a dashboard

Follow the procedure below to set permissions of a dashboard.

1. Log into the Analytics Dashboard if you are not already logged in. For detailed instructions, see Logging into the Analytics Dashboard.
2. Click Settings on the dashboard for which you want to set permissions.

3. In the Viewers field, enter the user roles that should be allowed to view the dashboard. In the Editors field, enter the user roles that should be allowed to edit the dashboard. 

   By default, permission to edit is granted to the user role Internal/everyone.

   

Previewing a dashboard

Follow the procedure below to preview a dashboard.

1. Log into the Analytics Dashboard if you are not already logged in. For detailed instructions, see Logging into the Analytics Dashboard.
2. Click View on the dashboard you want to view. The preview of the relevant dashboard will appear as shown in the example below.

Exporting a dashboard

Follow the procedure below to export a dashboard configuration as a JSON file.

1. Log into the Analytics Dashboard if you are not already logged in. For detailed instructions, see Logging into the Analytics Dashboard.
2. Click Design on the dashboard that you want to export.
3. Click the following button in the top navigator.
   

The dashboard configuration exported to JSON format in a new tab of your Web browser is displayed as shown in the example below.

Removing a dashboard

Follow tyne procedure below to remove a dashboard.

1. Log into the Analytics Dashboard if you are not already logged in. For detailed instructions, see Logging into the Analytics Dashboard. 
2. Click the following icon on the dashboard that you want to remove.
