This tool allows developers to test the connection to databases used by the data services server. You can log on to any one of the available databases and write data using the Database Console.

  1. Open the management console of the product. 
  2. Click Database Explorer to open the Database Console.

  3. Log on to a database by providing the following details:

    Saved Settings: Select the database type from the list. 
    Driver Class: Specify the class name of the JDBC driver.
    JDBC URL: Specify the path to the JDBC driver.
    User Name and Password: The log in credentials for the database.
  4. If you want to test the database connection without accessing the database, click Test Connection. 
  5. If you want to access the database, click Connect.
