Adding Datasources
When you create data services and resources using WSO2 Data Services Server, you have the flexibility of service enabling data stored in various types of data storages. This is done by creating datasources for each of the data storage types used by your data service. The following topics describe the wide range of data storage types supported in WSO2 DSS, and the steps for adding these datasources to a service:
- RDBMS
- Cassandra
- CSV
- Excel
- Resource Description Framework
- JNDI Datasources
- Google Spreadsheet
- Carbon Datasources
- Web Resource
- Custom Datasources
- MongoDB
WSO2 Data Services Server comes with the datasource management feature, which allows users to create any RDBMS datasource or custom datasource that is used by the server to connect to databases or external data stores. See Managing Datasources for details. Note that these pre-defined datasources can also be added to a data service as Carbon datasources.
