What's new in this release

WSO2 Developer Studio version 3.5.0 is the successor of version 3.2.0. It contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Developer Studio now provides ESB connector support. This tooling capability supports not only the connectors provided by WSO2, but also custom built connectors. 
  • When working with Jaggery projects and files, the Developer Studio editor provides syntax error checking and Jaggery related code assistance, cutting down on development time. The Jaggery debugger integration allows users to easily debug, locate and fix issues they encounter in Jaggery applications.
  • Quality of Service (QoS) enforcement has been introduced, providing security and reliability to services.
  • Performance improvements were made to the Maven plugins.
  • The overall UI has been enhanced, especially when creating ESB artifacts and working with App Factory applications.

Compatible WSO2 product versions

The following products were tested for compatibility with WSO2 Developer Studio 3.5.0:

  • ESB 4.8.0

WSO2 Developer Studio 3.5.0 is based on WSO2 Carbon 4.2.0 and is expected to be compatible with any other WSO2 product that is based on Carbon 4.2.0.
