Adding a User
Follow the instructions below to add a user:
- Sign in to the EMM console.
- Click Add under USERS to add a new user.
Provide the required details and click Add User.
User Stores: Provide the user store type from the list of items.
User Name: Provide the user name. The user name should in the lower-case, at least 3 characters long and with no white spaces.
This is a mandatory filed.
First Name: Provide the first name of the user.
This is a mandatory filed.
Last Name: Provide the last name of the user.
This is a mandatory filed.
Email Address: Provide the email address of the user.
This is a mandatory filed. You need to ensure that you provide a valid email address as an email containing the URL to download the EMM mobile application will be sent to the user.
User Roles: Provide the user roles for the respective user.
All roles starting with
Application/
are created for Service Providers (i.e.,Application/admin_emm
). These roles only have permission to subscribe to the respective Service-provider application. Therefore make sure not to assign users to the roles starting withApplication/
.
Once the user has been successfully added a Quick Response (QR) code will be displayed.
If the admin possess the user device, he/she can use a QR code scanner on his/her device to access the enrollment URL seamlessly or else the registered user will receive an email using, which he/she can register the device with EMM.
