A super tenant administrator and/or the EMM administrator is able to use the advanced search options (based on the device model/vendor, username, device status, platform and/or ownership) to search for devices and thereafter apply various operations directly on the devices or even view detailed information with regard to a device. The following sections describe all the actions entailed in device management.

WSO2 EMM does not support the Android wipe and email configuration device operations to be carried out on multiple devices at once when the device belong to the COPE device type. However, the Android wipe and email configuration device operations can be carried out on individual devices.

NOTE:

  • Users that belong to the administrator role are able to view all the devices that register with WSO2 EMM. For example, if you belong to the administrator role, you will see all the devices that have registered with WSO2 EMM when you log in to the WSO2 EMM console and go to the devices page. 
     
  • Once a device is removed from the EMM console that device will still be shown in the console with the status as REMOVED.
